    Gujarati will be mandated in schools and colleges: Rupani

    Chief Minister Vijay Rupani inaugurated the Gujarat Literature Festival at Gujarat University, Senate Hall. In which 15 different awards were awarded. The Chief Minister said that while today the dominance of English language is increasing and children are becoming extinct from mother tongue, it is time to compulsorize Gujarati language in the curriculum. .

    The Chief Minister said that the language policy should be formulated to achieve the status of mother tongue like Gujarati language like other states of Gujarat University, Himanshu Pandya and Gujarat Sahitya Akademi Chairman Vishnu Pandya. Organizations such as Akademi and Gujarat University can guide the government in this. On this occasion, Kajal Ojha Vaidya said that this kind of festival should be of help to the government and people participating in it should also be able to give decent rewards. Film and drama artist Jayesh More introduces a part of the next play 'Flying Queen', which presents his Surti life. Then Targat and the group were presented in the form of the songs of Narasinh Mehta's Pop. On this occasion, Amrita Fadnavis, wife of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was specially present. .
