- Full-Time Regular Three Years Diploma in relevant discipline of engineering from recognized Technical Board / Institute
- Diploma Trainee (Electrical): Full-Time Regular Three Years Diploma in Electrical / Electrical (Power)/Electrical and Electronics/Power Systems Engineering / Power Engineering (Electrical).
- Diploma Trainee (Civil): Full-Time Regular Three Years Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Diploma Trainee (Electronics): Full-Time Regular Three Years Diploma in Electronics /Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Electrical Communication / Telecommunication Engineering.
Age Limit: 27 years as on 23.09.2023
Application fee:
- The candidates are required to pay the fee of Rs 300, whereas SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.
- The selection process shall consist of Written Test (Computer Based Test) of eligible candidates.
- Written Test shall be of Objective Type (each question shall have four answer options) of two hours’ duration consisting of two parts –
- Part-I consists of Technical Knowledge Test (TKT) with 120 questions having specific questions from respective discipline.
- Part-II consists of Supervisory Aptitude Test (SAT) with 50 questions on vocabulary, verbal comprehension, quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability, data sufficiency and interpretation, numerical ability etc.
- All questions carry equal marks (1 mark). Wrong and multiple answers would result in negative marks of ¼.
How to Apply: Interested eligible candidates should apply only through On-line Registration System of POWERGRID.
